FCLL Mission

Fall Creek Little League is in the business of shaping young lives. We are about more than just baseball or softball. Sportsmanship, Loyalty, Courage and Respect are the four cornerstones of the LeagueÕs mission. To help prepare our children for a lifetime of experience is our goal. The challenges presented in the simple games of baseball and softball are parallel to those one finds in real life. The ability to overcome adversity; to set and achieve goals; to be able to handle the emotions of winning and losing; to learn to deal with different and diverse types of people; to forge life-long friendships; to secure a confidence in themselves as individuals. These are the skills we want to impart to our children in a safe and protected environment. To achieve these lofty goals, however, requires your help.

In 1955, Fall Creek was first chartered as a sanctioned Little League. Facilities were built on the grounds of the former Fall Creek Elementary School. Due to an unfortunate turn of events, the property was lost to us after many years of play. After a nomadic period, we were able to acquire the use of Lawrence Township's Lee Road Park. A decade ago, Lee Road Park was a landfill. Now, it is considered one of the best baseball/softball facilities in central Indiana. Our goal is to make it the best! What we have achieved so far has been due to the tireless hard work of volunteers and the generous contribution of many sponsors.

The business of running a baseball/softball league is expensive, both monetarily and in investments of time. The costs of equipment and the maintenance of eight fields can be staggering. The history of Fall Creek Little League has been one of a unique partnership between local business and the community. It is our mission to continue this partnership and secure the improvement of our league into the future.

The recent addition of a new concession stand/restroom facility, paved paths and other improvements, has brought many opportunities for monetary and service support. Please take a minute to see if there is a way that you can be of help. Please call if you have any questions or suggestions.
